In this blog post, we will discuss how to install docker in AWS EC2 instance.

Prerequisite for this demo:

  • One AWS EC2 instance with Linux 2 AMI and internet access.

An Amazon EC2 instance with Docker daemon running, listening for external traffic on a specific network interface, or all network interfaces (0.0.0.0). This can be a Windows or Linux host, depending on your application requirements. It’s recommended to use tags in order to pair the Docker daemon EC2 instance with its corresponding WorkSpace ID. Once you logged into AWS account and connected to your AWS Ec2 instance you can follow below steps to perform Docker installations. It's so surprising that I didn’t find any article that helps me to install superset on an Ubuntu 16.04 AMI of AWS EC2 instance. So, I have decided to do it myself. In this approach, I tried to install a Docker container by following superset’s cloud-native installation procedure.
